When Tooth Pain Becomes a Crisis for an Autistic Child

When my five-year-old autistic son developed severe tooth pain, I knew something was wrong, even though he could not tell me exactly what he was feeling. What followed was a long and upsetting journey to find suitable dental care, eventually leading to hospital treatment under sedation. Our experience showed me how urgently autistic children need quicker access to specialist and compassionate dental support.
