A SEND advocate who truly understands

Neurodiversity Learning Hub was founded to bridge the gap between families and the SEND system, providing practical support rooted in real experience.

Neurodiversity Learning Hub is a platform dedicated to supporting neurodivergent children and young people, and the families who care for them.

NLH was created to provide clear, accessible knowledge and guidance to families navigating the SEND system. Many parents and carers find the system complex, overwhelming, and difficult to understand. NLH aims to bridge that gap by offering information, advocacy, and support that empowers families to feel more confident and informed.

Our Mission

Educate. Navigate. Advocate.

Our mission is to equip families and professionals with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the SEND system effectively.

  • Educate families and professionals about neurodiversity and the SEND system
  • Support families to navigate processes such as SEN Support and EHCP pathways
  • Empower parents and carers to advocate confidently for their children

Our Vision

"Every child deserves to be understood, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive."

At the heart of Neurodiversity Learning Hub is the belief that when parents are equipped with the right knowledge and support, they are better able to advocate for their children and ensure their voices are heard.

What guides everything we do

Inclusion

Every child deserves to be understood, supported, and included.

Empowerment

Families should feel confident in advocating for their children.

Collaboration

Strong partnerships between families, schools, and services lead to better outcomes.

Clarity

Information should be accessible, accurate, and easy to understand.

Informed. Relatable. Independent.

Specialist SEND Law Knowledge

Sidra is IPSEA SEND Law Level 3 trained, reflecting advanced knowledge of SEND law. This ensures all guidance is accurate, up-to-date and grounded in statutory frameworks, giving families confidence in the support they receive.

Active in the SEND Community

As a current IPSEA volunteer, Sidra remains closely connected to best practice within SEND advocacy. NLH is also embedded within the wider SEND community, working collaboratively with local organisations to strengthen support for families.

Guidance That Makes Sense

NLH provides clear, practical guidance without unnecessary jargon. Families are supported to understand processes, make informed decisions, and take confident next steps.

Advocacy with Integrity

Support is independent, honest and child-centred. NLH focuses on ensuring that the right provision is identified and secured, while promoting constructive relationships with schools and professionals.

Professional and Lived Experience

NLH is grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience as a parent, allowing support to be both informed and empathetic.

Personalised, Flexible Support

Every family's journey is different. NLH offers tailored support that adapts to individual needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Educate. Navigate. Advocate.
